He had a fling with one of the simultaneous translator girls and her French was wtf I don't understand a word. Oh, Japan. ♥

Our central heating went out on Tuesday. The cellar got flooded because of snow melting + rain and short-circuited the electricity when the water level reached the heating furnace. Flipping switches to get lights etc. back was easy, but we were freezing for two days before we got off our lazy bums to light a fire in the stove in the kitchen. And of course all this had to happen when only me and my sister were around. We've both decided we'll move into super-modern houses. 8D My parents got back from their one-week vacation yesterday, so they'll have a look at the situation. Until then, we're all hanging out in the kitchen. 8D It's about 10 degrees in my room right now. (That's celsius. 8D)
We didn't have much to do otherwise, so we watched the entire first season of 30 Rock in three days and it's hilarious. ♥

I just found out that if I had registered it as a besondere Lernleistung (uh, a special additional achievement kind of thing) at school, it could have influenced my *~ultra special final exam grade~*. Of course nobody felt the need to inform me of this. *gnashes teeth* I hate my school's organizational talents sometimes. T_T

He was also wearing a cute cardigan after the first rain break.

The worst part? The channel I was watching decided the match was taking too long and started showing stupid movies, so I switched to the other sports channel and they were showing Tour de France, and the third one was showing the match, but was for some reason in the middle of the second set WHILE THEY WERE ACTUALLY STILL BATTLING OUT THE FIFTH. AAAAARGH.

• I'm eighteen! I get to drink legally! Uh... wow. Great. XD Seeing as there aren't many alcoholic beverages I consider to my taste, I don't really care that much, actually. 8D
But! My sisters gave me a DancePad with a USB connection, so I can finally play StepMania with my feet and not only the arrow keys on the keyboard! Although I was getting very good at that. |D

• School started again yesterday. *sighs* And I got all five of my exams from before the holidays back in the first two days of school. Figures.

(good for my standards - in class I'm pretty good, but somehow I always manage to really mess up written exams xD)

(also good, considering I didn't actually read the book we wrote on)

(the topic was the seven deadly sins - I have the feeling I could have made a tennis racket out of clay and my teacher would still have given me a 1)

And my French teacher said she hadn't finished going through my paper yet because she had to get into the philosophical *~feel~* of it first. XD
So yeah. Now another month of lazing around and then it's time for the next batch of exams already. *sighs* Thank god May is littered with public holidays. :)

( Thoughts on the end of Tenipuri )


As nostalgia has it, the end makes me remember how I first got into Tenipuri. I don't remember exactly when it was - between Christmas 2005 (because I know I was thinking of telling my sister to get me cool Bleach merchandise; and surely I'd've thought of Tenipuri too if I'd known it) and Valentine's Day 2006 (because I knew it was Ootori's birthday).

I remember my sister started downloading the anime (which is why I'm most partial to it) and I thought, "Oh God, magical boy tennis, save me please," and left the room. I was annoyed at my other sister because she got into it too; until one day I actually sat down and watched an episode with them a while. That was somewhere during Ryoma's match against Yuuta. It took me a little to learn all the names - I thought I had them all down, and then this weird schizophrenic brown-haired guy with a sushi restaurant showed up and I had no idea who he was. xD Then I started confusing everyone again, thinking Taka-san was called Eiji and Momo was Arai. Strangely enough, I always knew who Tezuka was and loved him from the very start. ♥
LOL.
Now I'm the biggest Tenipuri fan of the three of us.

• Situation with stupid teachers is over, they're still idiots, but I don't feel like wasting my time and energy ranting about them. \:D/
But I got my report card, and it's not too bad, to say so myself. xD Although they did predictably forget to add the note of my participation in our Drama club. *sighs* When will they learn?


• A friend of mine celebrated her eighteenth birthday in a pub last week. I was the only one not eighteen yet, so they threw me out at midnight. xD Bastards. At least they let me finish my drink. :D;


• I made the mistake of leaving my bag of Bassett's Traditional Winegums out next to the computer. I was about to eat some of them when I saw that someone (probably my mom) had eaten manymanymany of them. The funny thing is, there are only black and yellow ones left. LOL. Rikkai stalks me, I swear.

Wow, this is an entry purely about ~*the real world*~, except for a few mentions of Tenimyu. This Wednesday I took the bus to choir practice with my mother (she's our voice coach) and was listening to music, as I usually do when I'm on the bus - unrelated to the fact of there being someone else with me or not :D" - and she asked me if she could listen, too. I was all "o_o; Okaaaayyy... I can't guarantee you'll like what you hear, but okay."
So I gave her an earphone, and the next song that came up was Kagami No Naka No Ore (Kazuki's sexy solo version) and you know what her reaction was?

She laughed. And then she said, "I hope he dances better than he sings - oh, I hope I haven't offended you." I answered no, of course not, but my insides were in a turmoil --

Honestly though, Kazuki is one of the top singers in Tenimyu. ;_; I know Shirota's always known as the Best Tenimyu Vocalist Evar, but I think Kazuki is up there with him.

... Isn't exactly young, to put it that way. I think it was built at least 160 years ago, and since then it's been used as a number of things, including a gas station, a cow barn, and a roof tile workshop. (I kid you not.)
So it's only natural that the odd rodent scurries around the house at night (and the beams creak, and the hinges have to be oiled, and all that haunted house stuff); but when I see the trash bag under the counter in the kitchen shaking because there's a mouse scavenging for food in there, I can't help but find it hilarious - look out, it's the trash bag monster! :O

My black cat, Loki, apart from being a wonderful prop for Halloween parties, isn't as slender as she used to be. xD But she loves sitting on top of radiators, so on Wednesday, while I was surfing teh intarwebs, I heard her almost fall off and claw her way up no less than six times. XD
She chooses to ignore the fact that there's a cushy chair right next to nearly every heater in the house.

I was never really partial to Aiba when I first saw him, but he's really grown on me. D: *misses him*
