I'm officially done with school! Got my final grade of 1,8 (on a scale of 0,6 [nearly impossible] to 4,0 [lowest of the low]) last week. :> Now I just need to send applications to a few unis... I went and had a look at U. Düsseldorf, where I've been hoping to end up because of their good reputation for Japanese, and it is hella ugly. I'm rethinking that one. 8D

( Okay. So. I watched this. Just like Kamigakari, I did it because of Kazuki. )

And that was Girara. May I also add that Canadian!guy sounded Italian, British!guy was American, German!lady made me laugh so, so hard because she was all, "Yes! I am acting!", and French!guy was picked because he looks a tiny, tiny bit like Sarkozy and was dubbed extremely badly. He had a fling with one of the simultaneous translator girls and her French was wtf I don't understand a word. Oh, Japan. ♥

I think I'm getting into a steady one-post-a-month rhythm here. 8D So, let's see, what wonderful things are there to report? ♥

A. NO MORE SCHOOL. Ever. ♥ Friday was my last day of school, and as is usual for 13th graders (the thirteen-year school system is being ousted as I type >_<) over here, we went out with a blast, starting by absolutely drenching all the little kids between classes and ending by giving everyone a bang-up farewell show in the auditorium. I had a few teachers come on stage for a wonderful karaoke session. ♥
So now all that's left are my three written exams (English, French, History in French) and one oral (math). I really don't feel like studying. xD
The week leading up to our last day was fun, too - every day we all got dressed up according to a different theme, and Tuesday was by far my favorite: emo day. And of course emo day called for emo photos. :D

B. While I'm on the emo topic - I watched Twilight on Saturday. I lol'd my way through and was fairly disappointed even though I didn't have very high expectations - I was actually hoping Kristen Stewart would be, you know, a capable actress. But I was impressed by rpattz' successful accent. Otherwise, nobody seemed able to enunciate properly. My favorite part of the whole thing was this little scene:

Billy: ... also, Jacob was getting annoying about seeing Bella again.
Jacob: Oh thanks, Dad.
Billy: Just keepin' it real, son.

I don't know why, but it cracked me up. XD And the sparkles looked like cheap glitter powder. *sighs* So sad, so sad.

C. I'd like to wish a happy belated birthday to everyone who turned a year older this last month: Happy Birthday to ensein, shinobee, tokyocentricity, doumyoujitsukas and miraizu. ♥ And to myself. XD I got a phone! It's so pretty. :DDD

I think I'll go photoshop the hell out of one of my many emo photos. It's so much fun. 8D

I'm reeeaaaally looking forward to watching Kazuki in this myu. asdjaksfL I love him so much. ♥ ♥ I've checked on amazon, cdjapan and yesasia, but none of them have the Tokyo Gaisen Kouen ver. DVD. Can anyone tell me where/how to order it? :O

And here I thought I'd keep up with LJ more in my holidays. *sigh* I've turned into a complete lurker. A lurker extraordinaire. The queen of lurkers. I'm probably praising myself too much with that. 8D

I've noticed the last few days that akfhadfkhj I'M TOTALLY NERVOUS ABOUT THIS LANGUAGE COMPETITION THING. Shitshitshit it's in November and I already booked my train ride and it'll take like seven hours and that's LONG and the people even sent me five million city maps of the place and it's in ONE FREAKING MONTH and if I don't pick up a LOT on my Japanese (have been failing to do anything since August D<) I reaaaaaaally will make last place. I checked out their website when I started to get into this and last year's 1st and 2nd places were two people from the same school in (lol) Schnepfenthal. ('Schnepfe' is colloquial for prostitute. I LOL'D) AND THIS YEAR PEOPLE FROM THE SAME PLACE ARE ENTERING AGAIN AND THEY'RE BOTH LIKE AT LEAST FIVE YEARS YOUNGER THAN ME AND I REALLY DON'T WANT TO GET MY ASS WIPED BY A SEVENTH-GRADER. Beware the Schnepfenthalers, my sister said. XD

So I was, once again, drooling over the fancy new Myu site when my sister came into the room. I showed her a picture of Hirata and we agreed that he's pretty much the hottest-looking Kaidoh so far. And then she saw Furukawa and said, "Hey, he looks a little like Paris Hilton."



I really was thinking he reminded me of someone, but I could never come up with who. That seriously made my week. |D

I think that was the sparkliest, crackiest, funniest, most amazing thing I've seen in my life. It blew my brains out.

But, um, I can't say I'm impressed by any of the others. Akiyama looks like he should be wearing either a suit and selling vacuum cleaners or a lab coat and experimenting with dangerous substances. And anyone except Kazuki as Atobe is just... haha. Well, sorry. 8D Wow, am I biased or what?

So how come Aiba's mentioned on the profile page and Kazuki and Saitou aren't? Dx

• A while back, I wrote an essay on theater types in Japan and (along with a recording of me speaking a few Japanese sentences) sent it in to the Bundeswettbewerb Fremdsprachen 2008 (national foreign language competition :D"). AND ON TUESDAY I GOT A LETTER THAT I GOT THROUGH TO THE SECOND (and final) ROUND. ZOMG. :OOO Which means I get to go to Lübeck (310 km/192 miles away) in November to stand in front of three or more people who are all way smarter than me and tell them about Japanese theater AND speak Japanese.
Oh god. *dies*

• After September only Date will be missing from Hyoutei. :( I miss you already, Date. So much that I called Namikawa Date, even though I actually wanted to say Ootori.
And Aiba's coming back. o_o" I don't quite know how to react.

• Spain beat Germany 1-0. Darn. Not that I was especially interested, but y'know, Germany and all. But my dad bet on Spain (at work), so he'll get, like, 5€ for it. Wow. 8D

• I had a weird dream in which I was a reporter at a concert by some J-Rock band. While they were letting people into the arena, there was a cheesy song by some boy band being played. I only remember the line "Haato wa Burning sun~". Lol. I should be a song writer, N/N? XD

• HOLIDAYS! :D Everyone who's still in school/uni/work/whatever, do your best until you're off~! ♥ :3

話をいただいた時、正直すごい悩んだよ。

なんでかって言うと、去年立海公演を観た時に、俺達が先輩たちから受け継いだバトンがちゃんと新しいメンバーにも受け継がれていると確信したから。
あのステージに立つ自分の姿はもうイメージできなかったんだよ。
今までのテニミュがそうだったように、新しいメンツが新しい作品、時代を作っている。
だからそこでの役割は俺は果たしたし、もう戻ることもないと感じてた。

Now, my Japanese *really* isn't up to snuff, but thanks to my limited abilities and a fairly reliable internet translator, I kind of got the feeling Kazuki isn't looking forward to returning to the awesome world of Tenimyu quite as much as he should (read: is using excuses to be an arrogant disloyal idiot XD). Of course, this is probably just me. But oh well. *sighs* Show some loyalty, Kazuki! Without Tenimyu you would be nothing! Nothing!! *rawr*
