There is something incredibly gratifying in watching a series hot off the broadcast, so to speak, instead of years after it's over. So it is in this short blurb that I shall confess my love for Torchwood: Children Of Earth (trailers here and here). Watch it! Watch it! And if you don't know Torchwood, watch the rest of it first! XD

The first two seasons weren't very spectacular - it often seemed the series didn't know what to do with itself. But no more. I strongly assume it's thanks to Russell T Davies' writing and Euros Lyn's directing that this third (mini) season turned out so well. I've been vaguely wondering about how much they had to pay to get prime-time slots for every day of this week. 8D

Moral issues, woobiness, aliens attacking, gun-totin' action, a touch of mystery, a bed of potatoes - you name it, they've got it. ♥ And the final episode airs tonight! :O *can't wait* Now, if I could only get my annoying relatives to leave a few days early, we could watch it in peace. XD
