I'm officially done with school! Got my final grade of 1,8 (on a scale of 0,6 [nearly impossible] to 4,0 [lowest of the low]) last week. :> Now I just need to send applications to a few unis... I went and had a look at U. Düsseldorf, where I've been hoping to end up because of their good reputation for Japanese, and it is hella ugly. I'm rethinking that one. 8D

I finally got around to sewing a bag out of the wonderful wizard material (caution - crappy phone camera image quality - but had I mentioned I love my phone?) I found a few weeks ago at a material fair. How could one lay eyes on these wonderful creatures and not be instantly taken with them? ♥ I'm actually kind of proud of how it turned out, seeing as it's the first thing I've ever made using a sewing machine. :>



It turned out a little shorter than I'd intended, but it's still very usable. I forgot to sew any kind of fastener on it, though, so it isn't too safe. Maybe I'll add a snapper or something. 8D


My cat scratched the side of my wrist yesterday; the scratch itself is tiny, but I think she hit a nerve or something. Is that even possible? The whole side of my wrist/hand/lower forearm has been aching since this morning. Look at me, incapacitated by a cat.

But I'm afraid I missed it by 49 minutes. Well, shucky darn. 8D

I even drew him a birthday doodle, something I haven't done in what seems like ages. I do believe it's the first time I've drawn him alone. Well, technically alone.

Switching to a completely different subject, I had my final!oral maths exam yesterday. I managed a cool 10 of 15 points total, even though I thought I was more around 12 or 13. Sigh. I get my other results on June 10th, so until then, I will do absolutely nothing. ♥

The first five (negotiable) people to comment in this post get to request a sketch or a drabble of a character (etc.) of their choosing from me. In return, they have to post this in their journal, regardless of their drawing/writing ability level. If you absolutely can't draw or write, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to offer icons or something instead.

I should be studying for my four-hour French exam tomorrow, because I haven't done jack shit for it yet and it's already 8:30. But how can I if there are things like this or this or this or the new Daily Show & Colbert to watch? Damn you, wonderful things. You're keeping me from doing work. 8D

• A while back, I wrote an essay on theater types in Japan and (along with a recording of me speaking a few Japanese sentences) sent it in to the Bundeswettbewerb Fremdsprachen 2008 (national foreign language competition :D"). AND ON TUESDAY I GOT A LETTER THAT I GOT THROUGH TO THE SECOND (and final) ROUND. ZOMG. :OOO Which means I get to go to Lübeck (310 km/192 miles away) in November to stand in front of three or more people who are all way smarter than me and tell them about Japanese theater AND speak Japanese.
Oh god. *dies*

• After September only Date will be missing from Hyoutei. :( I miss you already, Date. So much that I called Namikawa Date, even though I actually wanted to say Ootori.
And Aiba's coming back. o_o" I don't quite know how to react.

• Spain beat Germany 1-0. Darn. Not that I was especially interested, but y'know, Germany and all. But my dad bet on Spain (at work), so he'll get, like, 5€ for it. Wow. 8D

• I had a weird dream in which I was a reporter at a concert by some J-Rock band. While they were letting people into the arena, there was a cheesy song by some boy band being played. I only remember the line "Haato wa Burning sun~". Lol. I should be a song writer, N/N? XD

話をいただいた時、正直すごい悩んだよ。

なんでかって言うと、去年立海公演を観た時に、俺達が先輩たちから受け継いだバトンがちゃんと新しいメンバーにも受け継がれていると確信したから。
あのステージに立つ自分の姿はもうイメージできなかったんだよ。
今までのテニミュがそうだったように、新しいメンツが新しい作品、時代を作っている。
だからそこでの役割は俺は果たしたし、もう戻ることもないと感じてた。

Now, my Japanese *really* isn't up to snuff, but thanks to my limited abilities and a fairly reliable internet translator, I kind of got the feeling Kazuki isn't looking forward to returning to the awesome world of Tenimyu quite as much as he should (read: is using excuses to be an arrogant disloyal idiot XD). Of course, this is probably just me. But oh well. *sighs* Show some loyalty, Kazuki! Without Tenimyu you would be nothing! Nothing!! *rawr*

• Had my chemistry test today. Noticed a REALLY STUPID MISTAKE I made on my way to the bus stop afterwards. XD *headdesk*
But! I now have no more exams or anything until next term~ :D Now I can *really* concentrate on procrastinating! W00t! 8D
I skipped my first two classes today. Hm. Wonder why, I can't really remember what I was thinking this morning, except that I reset my alarm clock from 7 am to 9:30. :/ Oh well, it was only philosophy and art, anyways. Nothing really important.

• My parents have been weird lately. Especially my mom, she keeps telling me how impressed she is by how mature and "clear-headed" (wtf?) I am. I shouldn't tell her that I tend to read the mails she writes to her family in which she sometimes says nasty things about my sister. And me. And my other sister. But mostly the one sister. D< Not nice.

• I love listening to Dear Prince when I walk to school. It gets me motivated in the mornings. :3
